Mission
Statement
The human foot is a biological
masterpiece. It is a complex structure containing 26 bones,
33 joints and a network of more than 100 tendons, muscles and
ligaments in addition to blood vessels and nerves. All function
together as a strong, and flexible instrument. An average day
of walking, for example, brings a force equal to several hundred
tons to bear on the feet. This is why foot ailments are among
the most common of our health problems.
80 percent of adults suffer from
some sort of foot and ankle problem during their lives. Some
of these problems are a result of systemic diseases such as
diabetes, circulatory disorders, anemia or kidney problems.
Other reasons may include structural abnormalities or trauma
such as flatfoot, bunion, hammertoe, arthritis, nerve entrapment,
sprains, tendon ruptures or fractures. Here at Park Plaza Foot
Specialists, we are committed to relieving pain, restoring function
and improving the appearance of your feet.
Our doctors have devoted
their careers to specializing in adult and pediatric foot disorders
from the most common to the most complex problems in order to
provide the highest level of expertise and care.
